Waterfowling Legacy - Pass it On

Family tradition is an important aspect of duck hunting for many of us. There are three generations of our family that currently share hunting experiences. Grandfather passed the legacy to my father then on to me and just recently my son has become involved . Grandpa is no longer with us however he left behind a rich heritage of experience and memories. We are especially blesssed because he kept logs and was an early 16mm moviemaker.

We have put a few of his images and a streaming video clip on our site to share some duck hunting traditions from the 30’s. Funny thing is, almost 70 years later the essence of the duck hunting experience remains constant! Blustery fall days, whistling wings, canine companions, familiar shotguns, functional boats/blinds, and effective duck decoys are all aspects of our duck hunting heritage to be treasured and entrusted to the next generation.
